Summary:
Responsible for performing human resources duties on a professional level and working closely with senior human resources management in implementing programs and initiatives to ensure the organization achieves its strategic plan goals.
This position will have responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas:
recruitment, employment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, policy administration, training, benefits, leave and HRIS.
Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal employment and labor laws and licensing and accreditation agency requirements.
Serve as a positive role model and uphold the Baxter Health mission, purpose and values.
BAXTER HEALTH COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIESUnderstands and adheres to Baxter Health standards as they appear in Healthstream Policy Manager.
Required to work with the Human Resources Manager and VP of Human Resources regularly to carryout, initiate and/or implement best practices for Baxter Health.
JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation:
Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum five (5) years' experience in a human resources role.
Previous healthcare experience preferred.
Previous experience advising leadership on employee relations matters required.
Certifications:
HRCI, SHRM or ASHHRA certification preferredOther:
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolutions skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of candidates or employees.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficiency with or ability to learn UKG Pro and Workforce Management and BI reporting.
Ability to work independently and manage assigned projects from inception to completion.

5 days a week, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week and occasionally more depending on workload and projects.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
